Anti-pilling agent
QUEENSETER P-100D , QUEENSETER P-350
Queenseter P-100D is an outstanding anti-pilling agent potently capable of producing anti-pilling effects in fiber materials without hardening the hand. By forming a soft but strong resin film, this agent significantly prevents pilling and produces a good, resilient hand.

Appearance | : | Colorless translucent liquid |
Ionicity | : | Cationic |
Main constituent | : | Specifically modified inorganic compound |
pH | : | 7-8 |
Solubility | : | Easily dissolves in water in any ratio |
Features
(1) | Produces potent wash-fast pilling-prevention in fiber materials. |
(2) | Produces a good hand with resilience and volume, and without coarseness. |
(3) | Does not cause yellowing or color alteration and is free of gumming-up trouble due to good mechanical stability. |
(4) | Requires no heat treatment as it forms a solid resin film on the fiber surface simply through the evaporation of the water content. |
Method of use
● | Treatment by continuous padding or dipping. The amounts used vary depending on the kind and form of substrate and the degree of effect required, however, the use of 1-3% solution is standard. |
● | Subsequent heat treatment not required. |
● | Preliminary, thorough testing of compatibility required in case of simultaneous use with other agents. |
Example of performance testing
Test specimen : polyester/cotton/acrylic blend knit
Test method : JIS L-1076 (ICI) A method, 5 hours
